Machined from lightweight yet incredibly strong 7075 billet aluminum, the MGA is designed to exceed real-world operational demands. In rigorous testing, this housing surpassed MIL-STD-810H military drop test standards, enduring impacts onto concrete from heights beyond the failure point of most image intensifiers and optics.

• Integrated IR Illuminator: Push-button activated, with visual indicators in the eyepiece to alert users when the IR is on or when battery is low.
• Flexible Power Options: Powered by a single onboard CR123 battery or an external battery pack via a secure 4-pin LEMO-style connector.
• Articulating Optical Pods: Adjust interpupillary distance from 47mm to 80mm+. Each pod independently pivots up and out of view to allow unaided vision or preserve natural light adaptation.
• Auto Shutoff Functionality: Optical pods shut off automatically when rotated up or stowed flat against a helmet, reducing light spill and power usage.
• User-Adjustable Tension: Easily modify swing tension with included Pivot Spanner Tools or a standard coin.
