AB NightVision Inc. and Night Vision Inc. are proud to announce the release of the Ruggedized Night Vision Goggle (RNVG). The RNVG is an extremely tough, full featured night vision binocular. Any user familiar with PVS-14 goggles will find the controls to be intuitive.
The RNVG utilizes a single CR123 battery, and comes with an auxiliary power connector for use with ANVIS-style auxiliary battery packs, such as our Night Vision Inc. Battle Battery Pack.
The switch and focusing functions are identical to the PVS-14. The switch has 3 positions: Off, On, and On with IR illuminator. Like the PVS-14, the switch does not cut power to the tubes when changing positions to turn the IR illuminator on. The RNVG has IR signaling capability, and as a safety feature the switch knob must be pulled out to turn the IR illuminator on. An IR spot/flood adapter can also be used if the user desires more range from their IR illuminator.
The mil-spec objectives allow the user to focus between 9.8 inches and infinity, while the mil-spec eyepieces offer a diopter adjustment range of -6 to +2. The inter-pupillary distance is adjustable to match the users eye spacing from 51mm to 73mm. IP adjustment is accomplished with jackscrews that maintain user settings using a ball-detent method to prevent any changes due to vibration.
The RNVG was designed from the ground-up to be extremely tough. When a night vision binocular is dropped and broken, it will most likely fail at the joint between the optical pods and the bridge. However, both the optical pods and bridge on the RNVG are CNC machined from solid billet 7075 aluminum to prevent breakage. This material is 36% stronger than most common steel, making the RNVG the most rugged night vision goggle in production. Careful design combined with advanced machining techniques has kept the weight down to a very competitive level. The RNVG weighs in at 555 grams, without a battery installed.
The RNVG is available in BLACK, TAN, FDE, and OD. The components of the binocular are media blasted to give a non-reflective matte finish, then black anodized for durability. For the TAN, FDE, or OD options, Cerakote (a proven firearms finish) is applied over the anodizing to give a tough, attractive finish.

Night Vision Inc knocked the 20UM RNVG’s for me out of the park. They are solid with excellent specs and at a great price compared to many other vendors L3 unfilmed white offerings. I wanted to buy once, cry once, and I believe that is exactly what I did. Do not hesitate!

Picked up the 2600+ L3 filmless and the clarity and brightness is amazing! NV Inc. did an excellent job of matching my tubes with excellent specs. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to do business again.

Being a first time NVG buyer naturally I had a ton of questions. The guys over at Night Vision Inc were extremely helpful and did not try to upsell me or recommend something I didn’t need. I ended up ordering Photonis Hybrid White RNVG’s and the specs/quality were out of this world! 10/10, would purchase from them again.

Do not hesitate. I have had a pair of the unfilmed RNVGs since the start of 2020. This piece of equipment was used more than any other item I have ever bought while in the Army. They are 1,000 times better than conventional Army issued NVGs. NO headaches with prolonged use! The metal housing was what made the most sense compared to other devices, if you spend this much money, make sure it is built to take a beating. Get the sacrificial lenses and make sure they are tight every time you pull them out for use. Ensure you remove the battery before storing! NVINC has amazing customer support as well. I have recommended this product and company to the dozens of people who have looked through mine or have thought about shopping for NVGs.
