L3HARRIS BNVD-1531 (2376+ FOM)

The L3Harris BNVD-1531 is a variant of the extremely popular USSOCOM issued AN/PVS-31A BNVD. The BNVD-1531 was developed by L3Harris for end users who were pleased with the AN/PVS-31A BNVD but wanted adjustable diopter and an onboard IR illuminator. This system serves as a hybrid between the Legacy AN/PVS-15 and the AN/PVS-31A, hence the nomenclature, BNVD-1531.

Despite the name, the BNVD-1531 uses mil-spec PVS-14 style objective and ocular (eyepiece) lenses, not PVS-15 optical assemblies. The L3Harris BNVD-1531 is identical to the BNVD, including utilization of the latest L3Harris image intensifier tubes on the market, providing unmatched clarity and resolution. The BNVD-1531 also uses specially shielded and modified MX-11769 format tubes that allow for adjustable gain control.
